I'll be headed down for Cruise-In-Week at OCMD on friday the 18th. I know its going on basically the whole week before and one of my buddies, a fellow 'ziner, with his S4 will be heading down as well.

I was down last weekend, only the right lane northbound was paved. The fence posts were up but nothing else. Hopefully they made decent progress during the week. Serious wheel destroying manholes.

They aren’t incentivized at all to get it done. In fact OC’s local legislators prefers that the roads be torn up when the car events come into town. It sounds like the police are going to be pretty ruthless this year during cruise in week. God speed.

i sure following cruise week it will be done in time to make money for summer two days tops lol , but yeah any modified cars or close to something changed will get that 1000$ speeding ticket and with the temporary summer law enforcement i imagine there going to be a ton of cops out to prove something this year in ocean city.

Yea they always do. I'm worried about the roads tbh...they are patrolling everywhere so its not even worth it to do anything but just cruise around. I'm banking on the roads being finished by the time That weekend comes around...

Hey everyone,

I’ve heard from people currently down there that the roads are almost completely paved, with the exception of just some small areas. Also, the new median fence apparently isn’t too bad. You can see through it when looking straight at it, just not at an angle (aka when driving). Not sure what the speed reduction will be yet..

PSA: People in another group are posting up citations. Pretty much all of Coastal Hwy near OC is zoned "Special Event Zone". If you get a speeding ticket they're tacking on an extra $530 fine.
