I just picked up a 2015 3.0 in Daytona Grey with black optic package. I’ve removed all emblems from the rear except the rings, but I’m thinking of replacing them with the matte black version. Given the black grille, I’m compelled to leave the chrome rings on the front. Would that look dumb?

I'd say get them to match. But its ultimately up to you.

Also, whereabouts are you located in WI?

Just outside of Madison. I may just leave the emblems alone and tint it.

That's what I did with mine. Looks much cleaner.

I think the stock chrome emblems look best on a dark colored car. Leave it.

I'd second making them match. I'm about to do the same, remove the rear badging except for the rings. I'd actually like a splash of red back there to match the "supercharged" on the sides. I'm also thinking of doing red brake calipers to add some pop.

Regardless of whatever else you do in the rear, i would always leave the front rings as is (silver/chrome). You could do them in a matte silver if you really want to get rid of the shine but i'm not a fan of black rings on a blacked out front end.

I had the same thought last night....dipping the rings matte red would be a nice contrast on the grey and would pick up the red on the supercharged emblems

Ohhh I'm curious how that would look! Could be pretty cool. I love the gray with those wheels, that's what I was originally looking for but found a white one that I couldn't pass up....and was tired of waiting for the right gray one to show up lol.
