Blacked out Audi badges?

Where do you guys purchase them? I've searched around the forum and seems like the popular choice audi-badges has shut down.

The Tag prices are a little ridiculous.

And no I will not be plastidipping. Specifically looking for front and rear Audi badges as well as S5 badges.

Badges look off to me. The fact that they say the badges are "metal" is also a red flag.

Buy OEM badges and paint them black yourself. The rear S5 badge is the only one that is a pain in the ass.

I went with iND Distribution. They painted a new OEM set for me in their in house black chrome finish.

I bought genuine Audi badges from the parts department and had them painted at the local body shop, we picked out a color to match the wheels as close as we could. Works out much cheaper than certain black badge shops advertised on here.

One thing to note, the red square in the S or RS5 badges is actually a sticker, we peeled this off and painted it red.

I went with an ebay front badge and it is perfect.

Ended up painting my rear badge. I attached the badge with 3M tape...piece of cake

Jesus, considering I know a part owner (and just bumped into him an hour ago) of IND, I should've probably considered that.

I got mine off eBay. It took three tries to get the right one, but, I eventually did. They were only $10 each with shipping though and I was able to either give away or sell the other two, so, it wasn't a big deal.

I wanted a glossy black one for the rear. The first one I received was not glossy despite the listing saying it was gloss, but the right size (you should measure the badge and confirm the size.) The seller refused to resend me a proper badge that was glossy instead of matte.

The next time I bought a badge that was listed as glossy and the proper size, but, was actually too large. This seller also had their listing incorrect, but, sent me the right one for free. So I really only paid $20, and got the right badge after just a few weeks. Worth it compared to some of the pricier sellers are probably selling the exact same thing but with tighter control on what item is actually mailed out.

I still have mine. Ready to ship if anyone wants them this week.

It takes a lot of sellers 2-3 weeks to order and get them painted.
