Adrians 2009 S5 thread

Thought that after lurking around here for the past year I should post something and introduce myself.

After owning my 2003 Jetta GLI for 3 years I thought it would be time for a change. Originally I wanted to get a 2017 Tacoma, but saw an S5 on there lot. Decided to take both on a test drive but immediately fell in love with the Audi. Started doing some research on them and before I knew it I bought one. This is my ibis white 2009 Audi S5 that I had purchased in June 2017.

Exterior:

- 35% Tint
- Led reverse light conversion
- Led Licence plate lights
- Gunsmoke Lamin-x taillight tint
- Audi puddle logo light
- 5000K Hid fogs

Interior

The day after I picked it up. It came with 3M on the front, Carbon Fibre inlays, Bang & Oulfsen Sound system




Next, I added some Lamin-x Gun-smoke tint on the tail lights, LED interior conversion, FreshAir Air freshener, Audi Puddle light, and some 3000k HIDs for the fogs.






Installed an Rs grill, and photo of the bay with the AWE intake




Went and got the car tinted with 35% tint and added yellow lamin x to the fogs


One thing that I have always wanted on my jetta was the Black Forrest Industries Shift knob



bag install. Ended up going with Airlift 3p for management as thats what I had in the Jetta and I was familiar with it. Airlift Preformance front and rear bags, Koni yellow rear shocks.








Been eyeing these wheels down for years and decided to buy them. Work Meister S1 wrapped in Michelin Pilot SuperSports. The difference in the wheel offset is so it can clear the front calipers.




Then decided to go back to white 5000k HIDs



How it's currently sitting until I decide to change something up.

Looks sick man! Love the wheel choice too! I also have an '09. Did you swap out your headlamps? I noticed in one of the photos the DRLs looked way bluer (if that's a word) than the factories.
Also love where you put the air tank, can you post a pic of where you mounted your switches at?
I noticed people complaining about the tail lamp tint, i'm not a fan of the super dark tails but I went with the light smoke pre-cut films from lamin-x. They darken them a little to give it a nice accent but they aren't too dark, just fyi in case you decide to change them up.

Appreciate it man! Those are the OEM headlights, that picture just looks a little more blue then it should.

Which switches for the air tank are you referring to?

I actually have the fronts lamin-x as well in the gunsmoke. They are a little too dark and ever since I got the rears done I was not super happy about how dark they are. I'm most likely going to change the front and rears to lamin-x tint for abit of a lighter shade.

I was referring to the switches to adjust the suspension.
Man those headlamps are dark! Looks pretty cool with the grille though, but kind of kills functionality.
