Replace the sensor and see if it clears..

Or double check to make sure the connector is seated properly.

I am assuming it's this sensor located on the headlamp support bracket which I have circled here from a photo with my bumper off

How do I go about getting to remove the sensor, from the engine bay? Take the headlight out? Here is a photo of the sensor (brown) on the headlight bracket

    FIXED......

So yes, it’s the sensor above. To access it remove a few torx screws on the fender liner and peel it back, just like you were replacing a fog light bulb. Clear code with Vagcom, done!

And yes my car is still under warranty but for a $60 fix, saves me time and aggravation of going to the dealer, reflashing my car, etc. etc.
