    Loss of power

    Hello everyone,

I recently picked up a 2006 S4, I am having an issue with it that I am hoping someone can point me in a direction. The car runs great most of them time but when you're on the highway and try to accelerate it has no power at all and the engine does not want to rev. It almost sounds like a small miss but I do not have any misfire codes. If you come to a stop then it acts fine again for a while. I assume it's some sort of mis-management of the fuel or air. I have codes for all 4 02 sensors, the MAF, SAI and purge valve. I will post the codes tonight, I am not by the car right now. From reading on the ross-tech wiki it seems like it's probably related to the emissions system somewhere. Anyone have any experience with this? I swapped the MAF from my C6 A6 to see if it made any difference but both cars run just as they did before the swap.

    Thanks

Faulty fuel pump or dirty fuel filter, perhaps. Have you replaced the filter?

Ya, post the codes. Hopefully someone smarter than me will look them over and chime in.

What codes are present for the O2 sensors? This could definitely be the issue. Also check to see if the intake flapper work a properly.
