    B6 A4 Fault code advice

    Hello Everyone,

I did my first test and auto scan for codes this morning with my new Ross-Tech. It was cool to see. Cant wait to play around a bit more with this tool. Anyway, I didn't seem to easily locate a list of fault codes. I went to Ross-Tech and looked at their code list. Some of mine were not on the list. Not sure what to do with those. Any advice would be great. I attached some pics of them. I guess the only one that actually doesn't work is the left rear window button. I can still use the larger button that puts all the windows up at one time, so im good to go for now. I'll pull the door panel off and check connections in a little bit. I don't seem to have any issues with the other codes, even though i don't know what some are

If anyone sees one that is pressing or I should fix immediately, please let me know. Or any other advice, would be awesome. Thanks again. Love this site. Later,

Ok, sorry, I have messed with these for a bit and cant get them to turn the correct way. Also, how does one make larger pics and not thumbnail size. Thanks

PS the two pics over top of one another go together.

It's would be easier to read if you just copied & pasted the text from the list. Have you cleared the faults yet? If you don't know the last time they were cleared, clear all of the codes and then rescan to see what is active.

Hello imnuts, I cleared the codes. I only got one code this time. I cleared them again and next scan there were zero codes. I ran it on the B6 A$ and B6 Cabrio, both for my model year. Both have come back with zero codes. Now for the Mods :) Thanks again for your advice.

I would check it again in say a weeks time, after you put a couple hundred miles on, and see what came back and address them as needed from there. Modules could store codes indefinitely, so that was why I suggested clearing them here so you know what may be a current issue and what isn't.

Sounds great thanks. Now I have to fix a small area on rear window where top is coming apart from window. Always exciting . Good hing I already have the materials. Later.
