Audi Exclusive Paint Color?

I am convinced that despite the questionable quality of the photos that there is no way this can be either Volcano or Garnet red paint. Seller is calling it Volcano but I am speculating that it is in fact 'Tango Red' which would have been available in Europe on the 2014 S3 which didn't arrive here til 2015, right? So do you think its possible this could be Tango, at the very least can we confirm it is neither Volcano or Garnet?

FWIW doesn't look like Volcano to me (I nearly ordered that color); looks like Misano Red to me (which is the color I ended up with). The paint code should give you two ways to confirm: (1) ask the seller to send you a pic of the paint code sticker (which should be near the spare tire) and you can verify with any third party touch up paint provider (e.g., Dr. Colorchip) or (2) call an Audi parts department, give them the VIN and ask what color the touch up paint is. Dam that's gorgeous. Def an audi exclusive order. That's either Brilliant Red or Misano red, both gorgeous but not offered as a standard color on the sq. Would be awesomeeee if this had black optics.

FWIW, my guess was Misano. Seems (to my eye, anyway) too dark for Brilliant.

$3,900 seems silly. Then you see pics like this. But to take a stab on the used market, where it's pretty much free...man, that's a prize.

The seller is an official Audi dealer. They should have the answer. To OP, if you're interested I say head down there and see it in person. I'm sure it'll be a stunner and another unicorn of a beast.

Definitely not Volcano Red, I had a 2015 SQ5 in Volcano Red. Looks like Misano to me.
