    2014 s6 132k miles

Hi guys, just sold my 2010 s4 manual trans and purchased a 2014 s6 with 132k. The car was meticulously maintained and all services were completed at Audi dealer. The trans is fairly jerky at times. Is this normal for a dual clutch trans? Car also shakes pretty roughly at idle intermittently while rpm gauge stays stagnant. Is this normal? Any input is appreciated!

Can't speak to the transmission as I don't have a dsg, but the vibration at idle could be from work motor mounts.

Yeah, run VCDS scan for any mount faults. As for the tranny, you may need to have the dealer do an TCU software upgrade. I believe it's version 0002.

+1 on motor mounts. It's probably due for a DSG service too.

Definitely needs new motor mounts, I would recommend getting them at audiusaparts.com unless you have the hookups at a dealership. They're $433.45 each and probably be best to replace both sides, with that said labor should be anywhere from 1300-2500 depending on where you go (local specialty shop vs dealership)

I would highly suggest doing the DSG service also like someone suggested, of course only if you dont have records of this being done recently.

You can get drivetrain mount inserts, 034 or eurocode, they seem to help alleviate some of the jerky feeling.

There's always a risk and premium to high mileage vehicles. I hope you get it sorted out
Life is too short to drive boring cars.
