    Anyone cross-shop a B9 Allroad with a CPO Macan S?

I swore I would never get an SUV for myself, but have read nothing but praise for the Macan.

Acceleration wise they are both similar based on Car and Driver tests.

I'm more interested in how they compare handling wise.

I've been doing this in my head for my next car and keep flipping the coin...... I'm a huge Porsche guy, but love my Allroad as a daily drive. The B9 is a great improvement in an already great car, especially the user interface. The Macan S handles quite nice and is real quick for an SUV, we have a BMW X5 that my wife rides and in her mind its just a step too small for her daily needs so it would have to be an Allroad replacement, have a few years to sort it out.

Car and Driver got the following results:

    Allroad: 0-60: 5.2, 1/4 mile: 13.8
    https://www.caranddriver.com/audi/a4-allroad-quattro

    Macan: 0-60: 5.1, 1/4 mile: 13.6
    https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2017-porsche-macan-s-test-review

I would say those are similar acceleration numbers.

Allroad 0-60 is closer to 5.7-5.9 and the 1/4 at low 14's

    C&D is being generous.

Allroad is closer to a regular macan then a macan s.

The Macan S is >500 lbs heavier w/ only 66 lb/ft more torque. That has to count against it in acceleration.

A B8 supercharged 3.0T Q5 or SQ5 with a simple bolt on pulley and stage 2 tune and nothing more will run 12.7s in the quarter and 0-60 in 4.3 to 4.4 seconds on pump gas. SQ5 might be a tick or two quicker because of better OEM intercooling system.

Can't speak to B9. But these times are quicker or the same as the stock Macan Turbo, the Macan S's higher horsepower brother.

Macan S is actually 12.9, not 12.09, so it falls down your list slightly (4388/340). Not disputing it has a better power to weight ratio, but if you compare torque, the difference isn't as clear cut.

You've also got 102 more horsepower than the allroad. Not even a fair fight.
