I'm having a problem with my A/C and thought some one here might be able to help steer me in the right direction? Were talking 09 S5 4.2. The A/C controls are set at 70 and in the "auto" mode and I get cold air
. If I crank it up to 75 I still get cold air. 65, still cold air. Any ideas??

The temperature in the cabin is over 75 degrees? You'll get cold air until the cabin reaches the temperature you set...

This, and the climate control system also takes into account some solar incidence, so sometimes it'll keep blowing cold air to try to maintain "comfort"

Thanks for the replies. When It's 60/65 outside and I set the temp control to 70 shouldn't I some warm air? I don't I just get cold all the time.

Buy a cheap thermometer from Wally World and set your "Auto" temp to 75. Use the thermometer to see if it keeps it close to 75.

If it's 72 or lower, I'd say you have a bad thermostat inside the cabin. If close to 75, I'd say you're freaking out about nothing.
