    Hi,

This is what my dealer is saying:
" it doesn’t look like the timing belt was performed. The timing belt package runs about $1800-2000 for the repair."

I got the car used at 94k, was wondering since I plan to keep it for 1-2 more years whether i should get it done?

    Thanks in advance!

Search around, lots of talk about this topic. Start here for one example.

The PO had a phase 2 done at the dealer at 65,000 miles. At 85,000 I found the original early spec tensioner in mine. I'd look through the inspection hole, and if you see that original tensioner in there, I'd definitely do it.
