    Hi Guys,

My dad just bought a 2017 S8 Plus and unfortunately this car doesn't have spare wheel (space saver)

Does anybody know if this can be retrofitted (just like my S6)

    thanks in advance

Hmmm...my USA spec 2015 S8 certainly has one--the space saver type. So do all USA D4's AFAIK. Thus yes, should be it should be retrofittable to yours. Besides the spare you will want the various underfloor foam type stuff to support the floor area.

In the USA BTW, there are two types of D4 trunk floors, just focusing on post facelift (2014 for Europe) The USA S8 has one with the whole floor flat. So do the the A8's with the Executive seating option. By contrast, the others have a recess in the whole center floor area that makes it a little lower--maybe 1"/25mm. Honestly, I like the entirely flat floor better; I had that recessed area in my D3. What is in that "space" that gets filled in with the different floor design is some extra sound insulation. I only bring it up because in tracking down the bit parts, make sure you realize which trunk floor you have, and that they are not all identical.
