Stage-2 Vehicles only! What does your LC work like any FW spin at all??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    I am stage-2 ECU / Stage-1 TCU

I get front wheel spin on LC for maybe 2 seconds before I feel the rear kick in. I had the car coded by Audi, replaced Haldex Controller and Pump w/brand new units. Replaced the diff with a low mileage used unit.

They flushed the Haldex system, did all adaptations and I still get FWS on LC and occasional TC light when pulling out hard off a turn (from a stop) out of my development.

I am sick of this Haldex crap, I am being told that some people get wheels spin stock with LC until the rear kicks in, but specifically looking for stage-2 cars.

My experience has been all 4 engage within a nano second with LC. However, I keep getting an off an on Haldex pump clutch fault. I haven't had that code pop up in a 3 months but it sucks big time when trying to lay the power down. it sticks around for a week or 2 and then back to normal. I don't know if the filter is getting clogged to what? I plan on flushing my entire drive system almost at 30K miles) and possibly flashing to the UM Haldex controller when I hear more feedback.

I was apr stage 2 and I launched it probably 30-35 times and it would have a small front spin.

Mine spins a bit, but its simple physics. The car digs hard, weight transfers back unloading the fronts so they roll over a bit. If they keep squealing you have a problem, but a bit of spin in the front is totally normal, even after increasing traction to the rear via coding (I did that too with VAGCOM)

There's nothing wrong there! I'm jealous! Never seen such a clean launch.

Update for me.. After installing all the 034 chassis bits and APR intake/Downpipe newest UNI files with the high torque settings and "increased traction" Via vagcom, and 4,000rpm launch on a hot day with sticky tires (just now) I had zero wheel spin front or rear. No drama at all, just traction and took off like a rocket. Odd that I was getting some front wheel spin before, even with the increased traction setting. Maybe Uni tweaked their launch settings.

I would suggest you get with someone with VAG-COM and check to see if you have any codes first. You definitely should after your video. That will let you know if it it's the pump or the clutch pack themselves. I just left the dealer yesterday and they recommended I replace my clutch assembly, 0CQ525554T. And the seal is N90443301.
