EPC light is on and Check engine light flashing after APR Stage 1

Got the APR Stage 1 done three weeks ago, immediately noticed the difference. Check engine light came on two days later while I was out of town but went off a couple days later.

Sunday evening, I did about 4.5 hours on the highway while driving home and the car was smooth as ever. Yesterday morning, the check engine light is flashing, epc light is on, and the engine is loud and shaky in the 1500-3000 rpm range.

This morning, dropped it off at the performance shop that did the ecm flash. Any thoughts on what’s going on?

@if6ws9 they said one of the ignition coils went bad. Found that to be pretty strange considering Audi replaced the engine about 5 months earlier

Just saw your reply....they never found the true issue. A few weeks ago, according to the dealership, the timing chain jumped and bent a few valves.

After replacing the fuel pump (and getting a carbon cleaning) 3-4 months ago, it hasn't happened since.
