Carbon mirror caps

Anyone have any experience with Carbon Imports? I just ordered the trunk lid spoiler from them and would like to do mirror caps as well. But there is a significant price difference between them and some other places.

I really like the satin ones Tag offers and I don't mind spending the money on quality parts, but at almost an $800 difference I'm inclined to go the with the glossy ones from Carbon Imports. Any thoughts?

glad you mentioned them- I've been thinking about the rear spoiler they make but have been reluctant because of mixed reviews on quality... their stuff is legit?

I’ve used them for a few things:

Mirror caps
B Pillar. (between the side windows)
Front door triangles (next to mirrors)
Rear S7 diffuser

Absolutely top quality.

They purchase the OEM part and coat it in real carbon, so zero fitment issues. Not the fastest, and not the cheapest, since they used OEM parts as the base. I can recommend them.

BKS/ Carbon Designz, is absolutely top quality I've bought a front spoiler, rear diffuser, and mirror pods. The fit and finish is second to no one. As RAF_S7 said, they are not cheap, and it may take a while, but when the package does arrive, you will forget about how long it took!

I've ordered from both Carbon/Designz for my RS7 CF B pillar and from Pretos for CF exterior mirror caps/CF rear trunk spoiler/CF Interior Roof Handles/CF Rear Seat Center Console.

Both companies are excellent have top quality CF products. No issues with fitment.

I would also recommend Carbon Designz- I got my CF steering wheel airbag cover from them and couldn't be happier with it. I also love Neidfaktor's work, but they are also expensive and take a long time. I'm still waiting on a grille with CF surround that I ordered on March 1st.

So my carbon imports trunk spoiler came in today. Got the OEM one off and was dry fitting the new one. Little more aggressive than I was thinking and I’m not too sure how I feel about it. So the first picture shows what they display on their website, as you can see it’s “flatter” and doesn’t stick up as much, I was expecting the "flatter" look. They did email me to verify my model year car and I’m wondering if post facelift trunk is different? What’s everyone’s thoughts on how this looks? Maybe it’ll grow on me, not sure.

I can vouch for carbon designz, I am a dealer with them and our customers love the quality as we love the fitment. We have ordered the engine cover, front duct, seat overs, mirror caps, dash trim, and door handles with flawless fitment. There is also a company not too far from me who will do essentially the same overlaying real carbon with resin over your oem piece for a much better price. However you lose your part for a few weeks.

The spoiler on the black car does not look like the same one as what you got. Sorry, for me, no spoiler is better than the large one you got. But it's all up to what you like and what look you're going for.
Here's what i had on my A6, and this remains my fav style:

The one you had is pretty much what I was going for. Just that little overhang, nothing too crazy. I stared at it endlessly last night and decided I'm not keeping it. Emailed them this morning informing them that it is not as displayed on their site and I would like to exchange it for the OEM+ one they have. If carbon-designz offered something like what I'm looking for I'd go with them, but looks like they only have OEM style.

The trunk doesn't change, only the rear bumper and tail lights. Don't believe the shit they are selling, that is not the same spoiler which can be confirmed by anyone with eyes. They screwed up, they need to fix it, unless you like parts of the Batmobile attached to your car.

That thing is way too big and looks ricey as hell. It might be ok on Honda Civic but not on Audi.
I would return it right away.

It is definitely not as advertised and I definitely don't need bat mobile parts .

It's ridiculous looking, I already emailed them requesting a shipping label and full refund. Located another one that is the style I'm looking for. Will post once its received and installed.
