So I’d give this piece a total score of 8 out of 10 stars. The quality seems pretty good, the carbon weave is for most part consistent but warps a little o the edges which I would except happen. The base seems to made of fiberglass with carbon draped over it.
THE ONLY ISSUE I had was the piece had a rather concerning bow to it. When dry fitting to the trunk there was a quarter inch gap in the center on the trunk lid. I debated whether or not to install this due to the bow but I knew the supplied 3M tape would do its job.
INSTALL:
So first things first is to remove the stock spoiler. Open your trunk and remove the safety triangle and the plastic holder for it which is in the below pic already removed.

Next is to remove the handle for the emergency trunk release seen in the pic below. Take the cover off and reveal a small Torx screw. This was hard to remove and I ended up not actually taking it off and working around it. But will make things easier to work around if you do remove it.

Next pull off the trunk latch cover. Pull it straight out towards you being sure to not punch yourself in the face

Now you’ll begin pulling off the liner to the trunk. There are clips located all around the liner. Seen below behind where my hand is

Ok so now you have access the hidden cave behind the liner. There are three nuts you’ll need to remove that are 10mm lock nuts. A stubby racket will do the trick here

Now once the nuts are off you’ll need to get your muscles out. There are a few ways to “break the seal” that’s created by the double sided tape. I used a flat scraper and got under the spoiler and separated it from the trunk. Either way you go about be careful not to gauge the trunk or scratch your paint.

The safest way is to pull straight up since there are studs molded into the spoiler. If you pry up from one end you WILL make the studs bend and warp the trunk holes. This will ruin your install later.
Soooooo now we start to prep the trunk for the Carbon bits!!
Make sure you remove ALL the tape and residue. I used a plastic scrapper and Oops(GOO GONE but a little stronger). It worked very well for me. I then used a clay bar to remove everything else that was caked on. Then I finally took some isopropyl alcohol and cleaned the surface until the rag stopped picking up dirt and whatever else was on there.
AGAIN; the surface needs to be 100% clean so the 3M taps adheres correctly.

Make sure everything is lined up the way you want it before permanently installing.
So now for final install.
I highly recommend using a heat gun to do this. I used the 8# setting on my heat gun and got the trunk warm to the touch. Then I took the gun to the 3m tape that comes pre-installed on the spoiler. Just enough heat to see the red tape starting to distort.
Sooo here’s the trick to a perfect install. After using the heat gun peel back the tape enough on one side to be able to set the spoiler on the trunk exactly where you want it while having the 3m tape cover stuff (red film you peeled back a little ) to stick out on the top. You will pull the film out from under the spoiler while you hold it lightly but firmly in position. If done correctly the spoiler will be exactly where you want it and you won’t need to guess/hover the spoiler into place hoping it lined up.
Here’s the final result!!!!
