Normal delta in IATs between air intake temp and charge air temp with APR CPS

    Howdy,
I recently installed an APR CPS and I'm trying to determine what is an expected delta between measured intake air temp and charge air temp.

Currently, I'm seeing intake air temp roughly 10 degrees F higher than ambient air temp, with charge air temp showing up 10 degrees F warmer than intake air temp.. So bottom line is my charge air temp is 20 degrees hotter than the ambient air temp.

Is this normal or does it appear the CPS has air trapped in it decreasing effectiveness?

    Thanks in advance,
    E

I just had the CPS installed on mine as well, still haven't had a chance to get into the VCDS and log anything yet, it's either been to wet or to hot.

Thanks Dutch, I've been bleeding my coolant system continually and haven't seen much difference.

Was able to do some data logging, went from 20mph to redline in 4th 4x and the IAT topped out at 62.75C. only thing is I don't have baseline from the stock heat exchanger to compare it too. I just know I was running it hard and it kept it in check, temps dropped real quickly after each run too.

Ok, what was you IAT when you started the pull? What was ambient?
