    05/05/2018 Audi S5 3.0t dragstrip results (1205-2150 ft D/A)

    Hey guys, I haven't posted here much but thought I would share my last dragstrip day results, my best runs to date.

    Run #1 [email protected] (1205-1507 ft D/A, 75*F)
    Run #2 [email protected] (1507-1695 ft D/A, 79*F)
    Run #2 [email protected] (1695-2,150 ft D/A, 82*F)

    breakdown of my fastest run:

    APR ECU/TCU (beta for fuel trim reasons)
    APR Ultracharger
    e85/93 octane fuel
    Autotech HPFP/Walbro 255lph Lift-pump
    57.55mm s/c pulley
    Fluidampr 194mm crank pulley
    Tampa Autosports test-pipes
    Tampa Autosports ported OEM blower
    Tampa Autosports ported UC adapter (port matched to ported blower)
    Killerchiller/AWE reservoir/PLM tank
    Modded OEM airbox (oem air filter)
    x-pipe/H-pipe (sound purposes only)

    255/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S (39/38psi)

    1/3 to 1/4 tank of gas
    no weight reduction
    ENE 13mph wind (almost tailwind)
    Launch between 2000-2250rpm.

    Launch method used: Engage LC sequence. Use the gas to modulate engine rpm between 2000-2,250rpm make "fool" the ECU/TCU into thinking LC is going to be used. Release brake, and quickly mashing the gas past kickdown. RPM's jump to about 2,500 - 2,750rpm at launch as the clutches catch. Full usage of 1st gear powerband while also maintaining AMAX upshifts.

    Track notes: IAT's started off around 29-30*C, ended around 57-60*C. I had a few ignition corrections up top in 3rd gear, however nothing significant (-1* range on 3 cyl), but it may have costed me just smidge in E.T. and MPH. Overall, I peaked boost at about 2436hPa @ 7,250rpm, but there is room to grow below peak for a meatier powerband, something that I plan on working over the summer..

    @leo quick question sir .i just installed my uc and did not install the spark plugs that came with it .what would you recommend leave the oem plugs gap to .25 or install the 9 that come with the uc ?or would you recommend a different plug ?

    I'm running the 9 heat-range currently (only because I needed to change my 8 heat range and I already paid for the 9 heat-range with the kit). I have mine set at .024" So far so good, know a few have had issues down the line with daily driving and missfires on the 9 heat-range, I just hope I don't run into that issue.

    thanks, I was aiming for higher traps, but happy I was able to land a few more 10.9's.
