**I have some VERY exciting news!**
I am very happy and excited to announce that myself and business partner, Jim Spinelli, have successfully purchased AutoEngineering of Lexington! We have been in negotiations for over 2.5 years and finally gained ownership on March 26th! We look forward to updating, modernizing, and giving the shop our personal touches. We are happy to keep the same great team in place, as well as some great additions. We will continue to take care of your BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen. Do you have IG? They are worth a follow - to answer your question, yes.

Rick himself has a 1.8t mk4 that makes 500 hp and an RS4. I dare you to find something Rick doesnt have experience with in the VAG (pun intended and not intended)

We will do it all! will be working with more performance vendors in the future.

Congrats Rick!!! Highly recommend Auto Engineering. Rick has been working on all of my Audis ( RS4 Cab, Supercharged RS4 Cab, B8 S4 6MT, '18 RS3, '13 TTRS) for the last 4 years. Incredible work and extremely knowledgeable.

Agreed! AE just saved my butt with some brake powder coating gone wrong and was fantastic to work with on the rest of the installs I needed, as well.

Bit of a necrobump, here, but it’s not like the regional forums have a hundred posts a month, so whatever.

Great experience this past week with Rick, Shaun, and Dylan (tech)... they wrestled with a tricky install of the RMR transmission oil cooler that would’ve been relatively straightforward were it not for some unforeseen issues the were not apparent upon cursory visual inspection. Despite a one or two day job turning into three, they didn’t alter their estimate, let me hang on to their loaner, and kept me in the loop up to the minute with phone calls, texts, and photos. Work done:

Xmsn oil cooler
JHM ECU / TCU stage II tune
JHM lightweight crank pulley and alternator belt 6-rib conversion
Powerflex rear subframe bushing install
Alignment

I do as much of my own work as I possibly can, but every once in a while I’m blessed to find myself with more money than time... in those instances, I need a nearby shop I can trust to treat my car with as much care as I would. Auto Engineering IS that shop for me, based on this experience thus far.
