    Radio Still works.
    Nav still works
It all still works - it is just that darn display.

I repaired one with similar symptoms. The ribbon cable connection to the screen breaks down over years of flexing during opening and closing.

Happy to try and fix yours if you'd like for a sixer of beer or that good Vermont maple syrup. :)

Thanks man! Happy to supply - honestly I am looking at a more modern upgrade, but if no one wants, I would be happy with it fixed.

thankfully I have a great Vermont Beer cycling team sponsor (Frost Beer Works) and a maple connection!

I'll see how this post shakes down. Where do you get parts?

I had a parts unit one upon a time but this fix ended up just having to trim off the end of the cable and reseat it. I think there was a post somewhere with photos, I'll see if I can find it this week when I should be working.

Here's a couple of the ribbon I took. It was just a few screws to get the whole thing apart, then cut back the cracked part at the end. You'd probably be able to do in an hour if you wanted to give it a shot.

You can get the ribbon from German or UK sellers on eBay.
