Under dash Relay Noise at 25mph

Does anyone know what causes what sounds like a relay engaging after you start the car and accelerate to 25mph? It only happens after initial start and when you exceeed 25mph.

Does anyone know what causes what sounds like a relay engaging after you start the car and accelerate to 25mph? It only happens after initial start and when you exceeed 25mph.

I have been told that it’s a door locking system engaging. Seems to make sense but mine comes from the door. I never investigated further because it made sense to me.

I found a thread about it, it said it was ABS relays testing or something to that nature. I hear it too, freaked me out the first 10 times or so lol.

What’s the noise the car makes when you open the drivers door for the first time? My S6 did that too.

it's an ABS self-check. happens on the first ignition cycle when you hit about 24-25mph. it's normal.
