Launch control in a MT = clutch control + rev control (both of which are controlled directly by your feet)

Are you looking for a secondary rev limiter function that limits your engine RPM to the middle of the power band just for take off?

I'm not aware of secondary rev limiter function on our platform. Maybe some of the veteran 1/4-mile folks can chime in and offer more info.

I was in discussion with N2MB to see if we can use their WOTBOX on our cars (no-lift shifting and 2step). The only wires we would need to determine are ignition (to hold the RPMs), clutch pedal switch (so it knows it's fully depressed and can activate the no-lift shift window) and throttle position wire (so it knows you're WOT and to activate 2step). If anyone has leads on these wires, I will buy and hook it up to my car. I've had the WOTBOX on another platform and it's seriously awesome, would love to have on the S4.

Awesome! I will definitely make a post. I love pushing this platform as I've already hit what I believe is the max mods we can do (headers, ported SC with custom 55mm pulley/200mm crank, cutouts, meth etc).

For the ignition wires, it needs to cut power to ALL coils; not sure how this will be achieved easily without splicing into each one. I think for the clutch and ignition the 0-5v wire will work.

Just found the pin-out for the A4 B8 which should be extremely similar if not the exact same as our S4s. Jojowhat can you confirm this tomorrow?

Here is the discussion I had with N2MB from 2016.

Here are the functions of all the WOT Box wires:
RED - Ignition coil power IN
ORANGE - Ignition coil power OUT
    BLACK - Ground
    GREEN - Clutch wire input
BLUE - Throttle position sensor or accelerator pedal position sensor input
    YELLOW - RPM input

The WOT Box YELLOW, GREEN and BLUE wires can either be connected at the sensors or at the ECU, whichever is easier. The WOT Box RED / ORANGE wires must be spliced into the common ignition coil power wire for all the coils. The WOT Box SINGLE BLACK wire should be connected to ground.

Connect the WOT Box YELLOW wire to one of the ignition coil trigger signals and select “Other - Ignition” as the RPM source in the WOT Box Software: www.n2mb.com/wotbox/software
