034 MotorSport 2.0 TIP transmission mount install questions

Ok, I went to Europaparts and ordered 34-509-4006 https://store.034motorsport.com/tran...s4-s6-rs6.html

    What I received was: 034-509-4046 https://store.034motorsport.com/tran...6-allroad.html

I also received what appears to be a separate bag with what looks to be the spacer kit shown with 34-509-4006. Should I just assume, that basically all the kit I ordered is the kit I received with the spacers added (ie - the mount is identical and it's the inclusion of the spacer that makes it correct for my B7 TIP instead of a B5)? That looks to be the case, but there's no documentation to clarify that issue, it's the weekend so I can't call (received the package yesterday), and I don't want to find out I'm wrong after I've already pulled the OE mounts.

And finally, and I feel stupid for asking, but what is the order of install? If the 034 mounts are put onto the cradle that the OE mounts sit in then it appears the black spacer is not required, but I know it has to be sold for a reason. Do you skip that mount cradle that acts as a spacer for the frame, and still use the black spacer? That seems to set the transmission too high.

I’m not 100%, but from my understanding the mounts are the same, if I find where I saw that information I’ll post it here.

That's what it's looking like, but I can't believe they don't give any kind of documentation at all. At this point I'm not even sure the order the install of the mounts and you would think that that would be pretty damn straight forward. It looks like if I use the original spacer/bracket for the original mount I don't need the black anodized thing, but I can't imagine they send it for nothing. And unbelievably, I can't find one picture anywhere of the mounts installed.

My best guess is yes, on top of the mount, but you could PM Jake at JHM, or just call 034. It’s better to hear from them, rather than guessing.

The confusion comes from watching jhm's b7 tip budget build video, pt. 3. (well that and no instructions). JHM appears to I use the original mount's mounting ring and no spacer on top so even though they sell a spacer... they didn't use it.

When I put the mount directly on the frame mounting plate it doesn't seem to sit really well so that also added to the confusion. I do plan to call 034 this morning, but yesterday when I posted this I already had the car partially apart and was hoping to get an answer so I could reassemble. At this point I went with what I could verify in the JHM video, but I fully anticipate having to reconfigure things later today.

    TY for your assistance!

I believe they are the same mount but manuals only need one and TIP’s need two. When I installed mine I just tried to make them look and sit like the factory ones. Unfortunately I was not happy with the vibration it caused (most likely these combined with potentially bad motor mounts) made my car feel like I had poly mounts everywhere.... so I removed them. Maybe I will install again in the future.....

I replaced mine with OE trans mounts. They more expansive but no crazy vibrations.

    From 034

You will install our mount with the included spacer and hardware. You do not reuse the OEM mount or any of the components.*
