Carbon Fiber Hood VIS

This hood was on the car when I bought it. I prefer the OEM look and want a functioning hood strut, however, I am sure you could modify this one for a hood strut. It will come with hood latches.

The hood latches should be replaced, one is broken, and their hinge pins are rusted. I will still include them and the mounting hardware. You can buy a replacement set on ebay for $16 here.

This was wrapped in 3M gloss black, but I removed that before I pulled the hood and put it up for sale. It looked good, but the wrap was probably 5 years old and showing age. As you can see the hood isn't in phenomenal shape, but once you wrap it that will cover up the imperfections.

Significant weight savings over the the OEM hood, maybe 15 -20 pounds?

Original owner painted sides in brilliant black, with carbon fiber still in the center. Once wrapped it will look just fine.
