    Angry 2001 Audi A4 1.8T Slight overheat

    Hi,

My 2001 A4 1.8T Quattro slightly overheats every once in a while

I found a picture of the dash on google, mine is a manual, not an automatic, if that makes any difference.

I drew a red square to where the needle sometimes goes, it sits in that range and sometimes goes back to the middle.

I added G20 coolant, which says that it's compatible with Audi models 2005 and up, should I be adding G12 instead?

Should I try to drain the air in the system (If there is any)

    Thanks!

I don't know what g20 coolant is, I that that was a place where all the world's best countries figure out problems.

All this really depends on how it overheats, and how it goes back to normal. Anything over half is bad. Explain better the conditions under which the car overheats.

It's really hard to say, when I go fast / higher RPMs, it tends to get a little hot, but other times it cools down. Other times when I idle, it gets hot, and other times it cools when I idle.
