    This guy i follow on instagram has a S5 2012 NA 4.2l V8 and says he has a custom tune and it brought his horsepower up to around 525 but he says he doesnt have supercharger or turbo just a custom tune from his “techy” tuner I sont believe this since all I have read is you need to do forced induction to get any good gains has anybody seen this to be true

    I call bullshit.

    The RS 5, which has the improved 4.2L V8, does 450hp. The APR tune takes that to 458hp.

    And does he have racing stripes or other decals on his S5? That could account for 50-75hp...

    Even if possible, how many miles/time can the engine run after. Reliablity would be my concern. A smile on my face for one pull isn't worth my frown after needing new engine. Although beating M4 on camera without breakdown would be bucket list worthy.
