new clutch slave hose leaking again

I have now replaced 3 slave cylinders and along with that a new hose. seems that the hose style is terrible. the end goes into a tiny oring and the hose is retained by a clip. hose is not held well by clip and seems like it is able to move a bit. Yes the clip is engaged. when you push clutch pedal, the pressure pushes gose outward slightly. has anyone modified the hose to a pipe thread or similar?

USP Motorsport sells an all metal slave cylinder with a steel braided clutch line that replaces the factory rubber/bent metal line.

new clutch slave hose leaking again

I suggest one of two things:

    1) buy OEM style braided line from USP and buy a metal duralast. This uses OEM style fitting and comes with lifetime warranty. They will literally exchange it with no questions asked.

    2) buy USP Metal Slave and braided combo, uses AN fitting and should solve your issues for good.

I went with number 1 because I wanted to retain the OEM style. Plus I have a lifetime warranty on my Slave. The duralast unit can also use the threaded style line as well if need be.

Is the hose clean of debris?
Is the hose FULLY engaged? Just because your clip is engaged doesn't mean your hose is.
Is the seal damaged? Is it happening when you install the hose?
