Functionality loss after installing aftermarket stereo

Hey guys, so I just installed a Pioneer AVH-201 into my 07 a4 cab, after the install I noticed my ESP light is always on and my fob doesn't work, I also lost the ability to monitor mpg through the dash. Possible fixes for these issues?

Does the b7 really have so many issues with aftermarket that buying OEM is a must?

    Lol....did you forget the /s?

OP — all you need is the proper harness and everything should work as expected. I’ve been running a Alpine iLX 007 and now the iLX 107 for over 6 years with no issues, so don’t even listen to his advice.

Check out enfigcarstero.com for the proper wire harnesses you will need.

If you put back your stock radio, does everything go back to normal?

I actually did get all my stuff from enfig, though I realized the actual harness that comes out of my car is missing a bunch of connections compared to the a4 on the enfig video. Attached is what comes out of my car and the enfig harness I have

    Was thinking the same thing!!

OP - Did you disconnect the battery to install the new head unit? If so, you will need to recode your keyfob to the car. Simple enough to do, put it in the ignition, turn the ignition on, but don't start the engine, press lock / unlock button take key out and press lock / unlock again (99% sure that's the procedure). The ESP light will go off after a short drive of about 100' or so, although your post reads that you have already driven it. Not sure on the MPG in the cluster though, did your car always have that or did you retrofit the wiper stalk to enable that function?
