Akrapovic System parts...need some help...

Allright, so i pulled the plug and purchased the Akrapovic exhaust for my 2014 Audi RS5 but i am missing 2 parts:

P-HF687
and
P-HF688

See diagram below, #11 and #12.

The issue is the wait, i was informed i have to wait 3 months for these parts. Does that sound right? Any suggestions on how to get these 2 parts sooner? I thought Akrapovic would have a much better customer service on a $6,500 product.

I reached out to Akrapovic and they directed me to https://www.turn14.com i spoke with a guy named Alex and he stated 3 months as well.

Thx in advance for any suggestions on this.

P-HF687 <----Is the connector to open the flaps for the right side of the muffler, the left side uses the OEM one.
and
P-HF688 <---- is a custom spacer for the tips, i am being told this part could be shipped sooner.

Okay I see now, just looked through the install procedure.

Step 7 P-HF687 is literally just a rubber tube with 2 clamps to extend the vacuum line from the stock location, you can easily find something suitable at autozone or something.

step 10 P-HF688 is just a spacer like you mentioned. There are still 3 stock bolts that hold the tips in, I wouldn't be that worried about not having these.

What am I missing here? You bought the exhaust new and it was missing parts? And they are telling you 3 month wait time?

That is 100% unacceptable. You do what you want, but I would be raising enough hell and moving up the chain until somebody was overnighting my missing parts.

Vendor should be collecting this item and replacing it with a complete kit. This is absolutely unacceptable!

I am working with the Vendor and the vendor has been great. I wish i can say the same for Akrapovic.

One would think that Akrapovic would have a much better customer service on a $6,500 product. I am not knocking the product down because the product is build with excellence but their customer service is definitely in the pits.

In the end i might just go out and purchase the rubber tube with 2 clamps to extend the vacuum line from the stock location. The part for the tips the vendor will ship to me, he has them in stock.

I hope you get it resolved. I am extremely happy with my decision to go with this exhaust system. The quality is fanstastic and the tone is exact what I was looking for. The only issue that I have is the urge to keep the titanium as clean as possible to properly show it off.
