    Tarox F2000 rotors and pads

So after a 32000 mile battering my stock brakes are beat. Keeping the car a bit longer so thought I'd try uprated discs and pads. Only costing about £300 more and they look great. Will be sure to add a review once I've had them installed.

You mention they cost £300 more, but do you mean more than the cost of OEM rotors?? If those pics are accurate pics of the rotors you will be purchasing, then they are inferior to OEM rotors as OEM rotors are 2 piece and those are 1 piece.. One piece rotors should weight alot more and will not dissipate heat as good as the oem 2 piece.. I guess if you're not tracking the car, the heat issue may not impact much you but the extra rotational mass is tougher on suspension components and may overwhelm them...

I don't think my s6 has 2 piece rotors. I'll ask the shop but these are highly regarded but appreciate your comments I'll look in to it.

The S6 & S7 have two piece front rotors.
The rear are one piece, like the A6.

I’m pretty sure both front and rear are ventilated on the S7....

I’ve never been able to find replacement non OEM front discs/rotors for the S7 in the UK. The Tarox ones are too small. (Front diameter on S7 is 400mm - Brembo’s).

I’d double check that the Tarox will fit the S6.....

I’m not sure how these would fit a S6 or S7. We have 400mm rotors and all that are listed show 356mm.

The rear rotors on the S6 & S7 are ventilated, but they are one piece.

Yes they are cast as one piece l agree.

Only the ceramic rotors are two piece on the 6/7 platforms, where the friction rotor is bolted to the hub fitting.

Shop seems to think they will fit

Thanks everyone you're all great. I almost ordered these but they're not 400mm. You've saved me a headache. Dealer seems to think the OEM ones will be really expensive. Anyone bought any in the UK?

So it's looking like OEM or brembo. Or get RS6 OEM rotors I've seen the fronts for £750

    Keep an eye on http://killerbrakes.com

The RS6/7 often pop up on eBay as well.
