    What brakes should I get for my s4?

    My brakes squeal like crazy and the dealership keeps saying it’s normal...what brakes do you guys recommend I get that is similar to oem but doesn’t have the annoying squealing?

    Lol it is normal. You just need new pads, something ceramic, and the squeal will be gone. Most people run either Akebono or Hawk pads I believe. If you need to replace rotors, Meyle will be the cheapest thing that's closest to oem. I run Meyle rotors and Akebono ceramic pads.

    Akebono pads and Zimmerman rotors. I never had saueaking with my stock set up but this is much less brake dust which is nice and no squeaking.

    Thanks for the replies. Does anybody have any feedback on Wagners? One of my friends said they’re good but I’ve never heard of them.

    I'll be putting on StopTech Cryo Rotors with Porterfield R4-S Pads in the next few weeks.

    I run the same setup on my Subaru LGT - and stopping power is great with no squeaks or odd noises. the Porterfield pads are also extremely linear unlike the factory S4 Pads.....

    I just bought some stoptech street pads and rotors from RockAuto. i'll likely put them on next weekend.
