    Why did you modify from 4 to 3 wires?
    Was it to retro fit this to a Mk1 model?

    It will with modification to the harness. This was modified for a b7. It will bolt right up though. There's a explanation on the forum on the harness and mfsw controls to a b8 for this wheel.

    Yes it'll work. The multi function control will be off though. What will and won't work with those I'm not sure. It was modified from 4 to 3 wires for a b7 mf swap
