    90 Octane tune?

    Hi all,
I've been looking for a tune for my a4 for a while now, but somehow alaska has produced some of the most oil in the U.S. and still can't manage to have 91 octane in the entire state.
Anyway, is anyone familiar with any tunes that will run 90 octane? Obviously there are 91 octane tunes out there but I don't want to have to run octane booster every time I fill up. I have heard of guys up here running 91 tunes on 90 but these guys also blow up their 15 year old subarus twice a week.

Any solutions besides a pro tune from a shop?
    Thanks,
    Chase

There is no reason a 91 octane tune shouldnt work. Theses cars have intividusl cylinder knock control. These ecus are very very good at preventing srlf destruction. They cant cover for shit pistons or timing chains but they can adjust for fuel quality quite well

You can run a gallon or so of E85 to make 91Oct.
