Sounds similar to an issue that I had recently with my Land Rover. Bad coil.

    Strang missfire HELP please

If you have access to a code reader, see what kinds of codes it’s throwing. That should point you to the right direction. Good luck.

Please be sure to check back in and let us know how it all turns out.

Yep; that sounds like a bad coil. You could swap a coil from the other side with one of those and see if the code changes to a different cylinder (trial & error).

exactly what AFONE said! Swap em from the other side and let the whole scenario of the first post replay, and see if the misfire changes position.

PS- since you're already in there, how old are your spark plugs? If you're coming up on that change, this would be a good time to knock it off the list

If you have a bad coilpack or two, I recommend replacing them all. If a few are failing I can assure you others are not far behind especially if they're original to the car. Definitely do sparkplugs at the same time like 95blkmax said!

Indeed, swapping the coils around is a good way to diagnose them. First for sure is the full scan of the ECU though, helps a ton.
