Has anyone gone with a twin scroll turbo set up on the 2.0tfsi engine? (ea888) I've been doing some research in attempt to find the best match for turbos to do my own custom "big turbo" upgrade. I am planning to fabricate my own manifold and ive been searching the forums for fabricators and have come across some really accurate/feasible CAD designs. Decided to make the manifold out of 321 stainless for its poor thermal conductivity.( faster spool) my goo is to have extreme low end torque with larger than ko4 high end power potential. My first dilemma is how to ensure equal length when fabricating the runners? im going with schedule 10 1,1/4" 321 mandrel bends and i'm going to buy them pre-beveled and bent. Also a pre-made merge collector with divided T-3 flange (hard af to find). I don't have a TIG gun and i'm fairly new at MIG but that's on my end. I've found some interesting write ups on runner diameter and the effects of smaller runners thus prompting me to go with the schedule 10 1 1/4" for my primary which is a 1.44" ID. (Wanna spool off IDLE)
(Main question here is )
What's the trade trick to making those runners the same length?!?!

Going to use the intergrated engineering 2.0tfsi 1/2" manifold blank to build on.

Now! turbos: This is where the internet turn into a black hole... that being said my goal is 370 to 400 on conservative tune with headroom for up to 450-500. That being said it is defiantly achievable with a twin scroll t3/t4 hybrid, sx251 twin scroll. Ball bearing will allow me to go smaller and more power efficiently but well lets be honest. You buying it for me?
There are sooo many different options for turbos but the t3/t4 while old is a very proven platform and offers tremendous aftermarket support in terms of rebuild ability and upgrade ability. The twin scroll t3 turbine can be a little hard to come by but they offer a quick spool time for that bigger t4 to kick in. They're typically rated from 200- 500 hp which is a much wider range than either turbo individually .

Oil.. so not exatly sure how to plumb oil to the t3/t4 or if factory lines can be reused
I have the manifold blank ordered and several 90-180 degree 321 mandrel bends on the way so i can start pulling the ko3 off the car to start the mock up/ fabrication process. (any tips here?)

will start posting pictures of the progress starting next week around Wednesday if everything goes right!
