    Spacers on 18x8.5 et29 stock S5 wheels(?)

    Hey all,

I cannot find an answer, probably because the wheels that came on my wife's 2013 S5 are the lamest wheels Audi has ever produced, but she likes them, so they must stay! That being said, I'd like to add spacers to make them sit flush with the fenders. The wheels I'm talking about are attached.

They are the "five parallel spoke s-design wheels". Size is 18x8.5, et29.

My question is: what spacers should I run to make them flush? Don't tell me 29mm. I'm just asking if anyone has kept these stock 18" wheels and put spacers on them to achieve a flush (or as close to flush as possible) look.

It looks to me like 20mm front/25mm rear might do the trick after measuring, but wanted to see if anyone else had firm(er) data.

Since every other question about this type of thing is discussing the 19" peelers or rotors, I had to start a new thread.

    Thanks in advance!

You are correct. 20 front, 25 rear is what got mine flush back when I was using those same wheels.

Keep in mind my car is lowered about an inch also.

Spacers aren’t too expensive. Check out the options at ECS Tuning. You can buy a few different sizes, install the ones you think will work first return the ones you didnt break the seal on. Nothing sucks more than ordering the size you thought would work only to find out you needed the next size up or down and now have to wait another week for shipping. I also found that I needed different sizes between fronts and rears.
