    warped / damaged rim?

It was a rough winter here in Minnesota and was playing keep away from all of the pot holes. Hit a few along the away unfortunately. Just had my summer tires put back on. Is there a sure fire way to determine if a rim has been damaged? I do have a very slight vibration but could be just me being sensitive to the winter tire to summer tire switch. Is taking it to the shop to check the best solution?

Going to a shop and having them balance the wheels is the best way to know.

If it's put on a balancing machine (with or without a wheel), it will wobble or visibly there will be something to see. Mounting the tire will exaggerate this, making it easier to see.

If you put the summers on the same wheels, the shop should have noticed or put so many weights it's crazy. Now, does that shop road force balance? If not, take to one that does. That'll be the most sure-fire way of ensuring it doesn't vibrate at speed.

I actually bent a wheel this winter in Minneapolis. the next day i took the car into Imola Motorsports, they took a look at it and proved my assumption to be correct. they threw it on a balancer and then aligned it again. thankfully nothing was broken.
