    2014 Allroad - Can't reinstall partition net

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I am having trouble reinstalling my partition net. With the luggage cover off and the rear seats folded forward, I reinstalled the partition net. However, when I try to put the rear seats back in their upright position, they are not locking in place as it looks like the partition net is hitting the rails of where the luggage compartment sits. Can anyone help? Thanks

    This piece?

If so, it has to lock in place. Sometimes you have to force it down, you should hear a click and/or the button will still flush(see the buttons with the red in them?) when it is properly in place.

Also make sure the seat belt or anything else is in the way.

Yes that's the one. That piece goes on fine. The problem is when I place the rear seats back to the upright position... the seats aren't locking in place because the partition net (piece in the photo you attached) seems to be hitting something (shelf for cargo cover) prematurely.

    It clicked in place?

When put correctly nothing should be in the way, I have done it multiple times.

Are you sure you put it the correct direction? Not sure it's even possible to invert it.

The partition only mounts to the seat backs when using it in the forward (seat backs laying down) position. When seat backs are upright, it should click into the sides just in front of the cargo cover (i.e. not on the seat backs).
