After a lot of soul searching, I'm finally coming around to selling my RS4 in favor of an air cooled 911. I bought the car almost four years ago because I'm a 40-year-old with kids and needed a "four-door family car". Since then, I've put 18k miles on it and it's been great. Well taken care of with frequent oil changes, yearly detailing, and a focus on keeping it maintained well. Regular maintenance costs aren't that bad...maybe averaging $1,000 year which included some carbon cleaning, front-end bits like control arms and CV boots (replaced the axle because I wasn't sure how long the boot was torn).
I priced this hoping it would lead to a quick and painless sale, not to maximize dollar value. My life is busy, I want someone to be excited about this car for the value, and it's not perfect (I tried my best to point out all the imperfections).
I'm usually one for keeping my car stock, but there are some non-OEM bits:
- The previous owner installed the PSS9 Coilovers (I'm assuming the OEM hydraulic suspension pooped out)
- I added a Milltek resonated exhaust and I don't regret it for a second. Slightly louder/appropriate for this car.
- The front rotors are ECS drilled rotors...honestly, I just thought they looked nicer
The bad:
- A couple scratches on the rear bumper
- a couple other cosmetic scratches, but overall I worked very hard to keep it detailed
- I don't have TPMS on the summer wheels (but the OEM wheels have them)
