    Help identifying correct subframe

Hi all - just looking for a bit of assistance while I'm trying to source a front subframe for my 2003 B6 S6, manual saloon (yes, I'm UK based).

I've seen on another thread that 8E0399313BG seems to be the part needed, but I'm currently unable to find one. I have managed to find one with a slightly different part number 8E0399313M and wondered if this would fit or how I might be able to find out.

From what I've read, I understand that the BG or M at the end are revision numbers, but I've no idea which I need or how to find out what the difference is.

    Any help or advice appreciated.

-BG supersedes -M, -AE, -AM (per ECS). No good way to tell what the difference is between revisions, but getting the latest is always the best bet

from what I've found when looking for a new subframe, any subframe from a quattro, manual, A4/S4, B6/B7 car will fit, the multiple revisions are for different mounts/bushing.

for the A4's there's a couple different bushing hardness based on sport vs non-sport suspensions
the S4 has the same subframe bushings as the sport suspension A4's iirc.

I've got an excel file of the different front subframes part numbers/revisions for A4/S4/RS4, let me know if you want it.

@jakeoboy67 - that sounds a bit more positive.

So by that thinking the 8E0399313M should fit. Definitely be helpful to get that excel file it that's ok.

Just in case anyone was interested, the subframe that I picked up 8E0399313M went straight in. Only difference was the headlamp leveller bracket was missing, so took this off the old one. So with that and all bushes/control arms and associated bits and bobs replaced, I'm all set!

    Appreciate the advice, thanks
