    Help! Magnaflow drone solution needed.

Really need some help here. I installed the Magnaflow cat back exhaust a few months ago. Daily driving sounds good but there is super annoying deep bassy drone at highway speeds around 3k-3.5k rpm at 75-85mph. Anywhere in that range with a slight incline in road drives me bat shit crazy. Tried stuffing pillow in the trunk, dynomat...nothing. Anyone have success removing the drone buy cutting the first "box looking" resonator off. Maybe installing a straight through resonator where that box one is? Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Google: Mk7 Exhaust Tech. How to get the sound you want.

This thread is very informative and may provide some relief. It’s also a fun read.

No much for feedback. Anyways, replaced with OEM exhaust and deleted second resonator. Happy.
