Partgeek sent me wrong front pads! Found out when I took the car to my mechanic.
Can someone confirm the actual part number on the box . Now I have to fight with parts geek to get them exchanged or get refund.
Id greatly appreciate it if someone can point me to a current site where I can pick up the correct akebono pads for the S6

    Thanks
    Amul

Brakeworld has Disc Italia pads: http://www.brakeworld.com/brakes/201.../s6/pads/brake

The Akebono web catalog does not show front pads for the S6, but it does show the rear pads, same as the A6 rear pads:
    Location: REAR
Brand: EURO ULTRA PREMIUM CERAMIC PAD
    Part Number: EUR1547A
    Part Type: Disc Brake Pad
    BMW M3 Competition X-drive
Gone (not forgotten): 2019 RS5 Sportback
