2013 C7 A7 very rough vibration on idle!

Hey, guys. Back in November of this past year (2017) I went ahead and purchased a low-mile (18,000) C7 A7 Prestige, I figured that a A7 with that many miles in it, was a great purchase at just under $40,000.00. I bring the car home, seemed fine. A couple weeks later I’m literally about to take off for a Vegas trip and notice a pink/orange colored fluid coming from under the front end of the car, what do you know, it’s coolant. As anyone else would’ve done, take the backup car, we take our A4. When I get back I have it towed in to our local Audi dealer and it’s the radiator return hose that’s torn, I pay to have that replaced but they tell me that the water pump also has a leak, minimal at that. I hold off on that and also kept wondering why the car was vibrating a ton on idle, my best estimate was that it was the engine mounts. Yup, I was right, had them checked out and what do you know. At this point I’m thinking “the f%#k, it’s just common sense this shouldn’t be happening to a car with such mileage”, even if it wasn’t driven the estimated 12-15,000 miles a year. Is this a usual issue with the C7 A7? I know, I know, answering this question isn’t quite the priority but I’d like to definitely know if anyone else has had the same issues! Thanks in advance, guys! ☕️

Engine mounts definitely are a common issue. Cars that don't get driven often tend to have more problems than frequently driven cars in my experience... I would guess an A7 is no different
Mine had a similar issue that wasn't resolved when mounts got replaced, turned out to be a bad breather valve as well causing the issues.

Geez, that’s a bummer. Guess I should’ve done a bit of research before jumping into it because of the low mileage. I was just 4 months out of warranty when I noticed the issue. Thanks for sharing, appreciate the heads up.
