Alright so this is my first post,
I am in the process of replacing the intake cam in my 2008 audi a4 b7, i have the head cover off of the car and am in the process of taking off the vacuum pump to get the the timing chain cover. so long story short i stripped the middle screw on the vacuum pump that holds the grounds (lowest screw). I really need some help or advice on what to do, it is in such a tight spot that it is very hard to get the leverage on the screw while keeping the bit properly seated. My ideas so far are:
1. trying the rubber band trick or using some steel wool to get extra friction.
2. using some jb weld to stick the bit into the socket and just letting it dry together.
3. dremeling a slot in the head of it to get a flat head seated in the bolt to undo it.
If anyone else has had any experience with this please share some wisdom, I need this bolt out. Thank you in advance
