    Smelly fumes coming into cabin

My car has been smelling and really hard on the eyes lately. I haven't changed anything other than got an oil change. But I think it was happening before the oil change. Even my buddy agrees as I took him for a ride and right away he noticed it. Smells like engine fumes....wondering if something came loose like a hose? Wondering if something similar happened to anyone else? I don't think it's the exhaust as there is no change in sound and my friend agreed as well....

Possibly a clogged PCV breather system? Maybe a good start to look at.

Yes it was a catless but I had a cat installed as the fumes were too much! That was 2 years ago..... the car was fine since but lately it has come back.

That's the 1st thing I thought of but wouldn't that make the exhaust note sound different? My bud and I both didn't think the exhaust sounds any different.....

It could be hard to hear, you’d have to get under the car and look for the leak.
