Headlights question - S Line

Hi everyone,

I am new to the Audi world and have limited knowledge. so question is would a 2015 A4 B8.5 with the S line package need different headlights than a 2015 A4 B8.5 without the S line? I am trying to find OEM or any other headlights that only require me to take the broken ones off and replace them without any kits but not sure if just any headlight that fits a 2015 A4 would work or if I need to look for S line specific.

Do you have adaptive headlights (the ones that turn when you steer)? That would be the only difference. Run your VIN through a decoder online if you aren't sure.

Regardless, when you replace your lights get ecodes. They look way better.

I'm not sure if it does have adaptive headlights, one decoder said it did but a bunch of others say "standard" under the lighting section. If the car did have adaptive headlights and I got normal headlights without the adaptive thing, would I need some sort of kit to make them work or would it just be a matter of connecting normally and all that would change is that the adaptive lighting won't work?

I can't even trust Audi's VIN decoder. I've seen some that say my car is an S4 and Audi's "MyAudi" says my car is a prestige. It has rubber floor mats and exhaust tips as the only extra items.

Get the part number from the top of your headlight and check that.

There is no difference in headlights between the s-line & non-S-LINE variants
