Oil Level and auto folding mirrors

Ok, so a couple of questions.
The car is an 06 A6 Quattro, it has nav, adaptive head lights, and lots of other nice thing.
So I have a couple of questions,

    1) can the oil level be displayed on the MMI, There is a line item for it in the car section, but it is grayed out.

    2) From inside the house, I have noticed, that at times, the passenger mirror is folded in, not the drivers side. I can force them to fold in with the knob in the down position, but I am not sure what causes it to do that by it's self.

    3) I have apparently turned off the mike on the voice control system and can not remember how. The voice button on the steering wheel shows inactive, and I can connect my phone to the BT system, it dials and such, but the person on the other end can not hear me when it connects.

Any help on any of these would be greatly appreciated.

1.) Oil level is grayed out because your car does not have the sensors installed
2.)if you leave the knob in the down position it will auto fold mirrors
3.)sounds like possibly the BT module is broken or damaged because that is damaged

    1) Why is it that VCDS can tell the level? It does have a sensor in the bottom of the Oil pan. Maybe it just isn't the right one?
    2) Got it on the knob, Will test it. I now wonder, if the knob is on the passenger side setting, it will dip when in reverse, could it be, that it will also only auto fold that side? Just a thought.
    3) Not sure the BT is dead, as the entire Voice command system does not work. It is like the mick is not turned on. Again, pushing the button on the steering wheel, It indicates on the center panel that the button is disabled. NAV will not take commands either.

    Thanks

1.) it’s a different kind of sensor, the one in the pan I believe is for the low oil light.
2.) rule of thumb, if you have nav you typically have the auto dip mirror on reverse when it is set to the passenger seat
3.) when you press the button on the steering wheel if says “button inactive” it means from factory is has been disabled, though you can enable it via vagcom. But what you’re saying is it hear you when you use the voice controls but not when in a call?

    1) Lots of reading to do on this, It may be possible with a sensor from a different car, but not 100% sure.
    2) The only time the mirror drops, is if the knob is on the passenger side setting. Both mirrors fold at any time, even when driving, if you put the knob in the down position. they do not seem to unfold, if you leave the car and get back into it. My brother A8(I know, completely different class of car) they mirrors auto fold as you enter and exit the car, with a smart key.
    3) NO, The car does not recognize any voice commands, or, when on the phone the other person can not hear me. so, I can hear people talking on the phone, but it is like in mute mode. They can not hear me. I have had this condition once before and fixed it in VCDS, I just can not find the setting, and am confused as to why it is back and where the setting is.

If you go into the car settings in the hidden menu you might be able to deactivate the mute button and reenable it if that is the issue, is your car US or ROW? From what I think I remember the US spec a6s don’t typically have auto folding mirrors

Got it!!! Oddly enough, if you go into the Telephone module 77 and adaption, Do not turn on the voice control!!! Some how, if you turn this on, it turns off the actual car's voice modules. Really strange, as I do not remember seeing any other voice control modules in and of the modules.

Any way, it is back to normal.
