I am changing my CVT transmission fluid 6 Liters (VW spec G 052 180 A2) and Cohline inline filter (P/N 8E0-317-823 L) using the attached procedure I found from the Pelican website:

Are there any other tricks besides the special drain plug removal 16mm XZN Security Torx bit, and filling from the fluid level tube/opening and infrared temp sensor gun? Any feedback will help

Overall the procedure looks good, a few details:
-when shifting though the gears, wait at least 2 seconds in each gear
    - make sure the car is PERFECTLY level
    - make sure you keep stuff clean and avoid getting ANY dirt inside the transmission
