I had the cel come on and flash I immediately pulled over and turned it off. Scanned with a generic scanner and came up with p0306 cylinder 6. I cleared it and tried to start it to see if it returned all it does is crank. I’m having it towed to my house and I’m going to pull the coil pack and plug. They are new plugs and coils with maybe 8k on them now. Is there anything else I should be looking for or I should test/check?

Check basics: Spark, Fuel, Air, Compression. Im leaning towards fuel however. Possible relay for FP or the FP itself has gone down. If it isthe FP that went down I would change the relay, FP and FF all at the same time.

I’d recommend first to check codes now with VCDS/similar and see what’s up, might save you a bunch of time/money.

If you want a cheap, easy to use scanner get this on from Amazon:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013LPC40E..._t3_B078QN5YQZ

I can scan and clear codes and even do a little bit of reprogramming of your car's options. I have one and keep it in my glove compartment.

Without having access to vcds to run in depth scans I swapped coil pack on cylinder 6 And unscrewed the fuel line on top of the manifold and it was dry so I’m leaning towards fuel pump at the moment

Check power to the pump to make sure its not the FP relay that went bad.
